Most of forests in Iran are located between the Caspian Sea and the Alborz mountain range. Mangrove forests in Qeshm and southern coasts (mangrove trees), Zagros oak forests, Hyrcanian forests (its tigers are mentioned by Shakespeare in Macbeth) and Arasbaran forests are the most important of them.
