Laparoscopic myomectomy is surgery to remove one or more fibroids. Your doctor put a lighted tube (scope) and other tools through small cuts (incisions) in your belly. The doctor then removed the fibroids. After surgery, you may feel some pain in your belly for several days. Your belly may also be swollen.

Instructions

How is it performed?

During this procedure, the fibroid is visualized using a thin, lighted scope with a camera on the end (a laparoscope). Small instruments are inserted through the incisions into your pelvis to remove the fibroid.

Can I walk after laparoscopic myomectomy?
